# Dive Kit MCP server > A remote MCP server that lets ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other MCP clients plan open-circuit and CCR decompression dives with the Bühlmann ZH-L16C engine and gradient factors from the Dive Kit app, run the blending, gas-use, breathing-rate and weighting calculators around a dive, and look up cylinders, diving certifications and references from Dive Kit's open data. Endpoint: https://api.divekit.app/mcp (streamable HTTP, no sign-in). The Dive Kit AI connector is experimental. It can change or stop without notice. AI assistants can misread, round or misreport its results, so check any plan in the Dive Kit app or against a second source before you rely on it. Results are for reference only and for trained divers: not a dive computer and not medical advice. Every figure an assistant quotes should come from a tool result, with the result's safety notice. Warning and disclaimer: https://divekit.app/safety. Terms of Use: https://divekit.app/terms. Tools: - plan_dive: stop table, gas per cylinder, warnings, contingencies, CCR bailout and a link that opens the plan in the Dive Kit app. - find_max_bottom_time: the longest open-circuit bottom time on one level that keeps every cylinder above its reserve, fits a time-to-surface budget, or needs no stop. - check_no_deco: how long you can stay at a depth without decompression stops. - gas_specs: MOD, minimum depth, END, EAD, density and PPO₂ for one mix. - best_mix: the best mix for a depth, the nearest standard fill and the deco gases to carry, and the helium that clears the density limit when a mix is too dense. - read_share_link: decode a Dive Kit share link into the plan_dive input it carries, ready to recompute or change. - get_guide: one section of the planning guide as markdown; start_here is the index. - lookup_cylinders: cylinder sizes, pressures, buoyancy and the plan_dive preset for each, from Dive Kit's open cylinder data. - lookup_certifications: diving courses by agency, with prerequisites, equivalents and limits, from Dive Kit's open certification data. - convert_units: pressure, volume, depth, temperature, weight and breathing rate between units. - gas_usage: the gas one cylinder spends over a no-stop profile, with reserve and turn pressure. - rmv_sac: a diver's breathing rate (RMV and SAC) from a logged dive, measured on the same real-gas model as the planner; give the mix for trimix. - plan_blend: a partial-pressure blending plan to a target nitrox or trimix, with bank use. - mix_result: the mix a fill produced, to check a blend plan or a fill already done. - blend_continuous: feed ratios and analyzer targets for continuous-flow blending. - decant: two cylinders joined by a whip, and where to stop for a target mix. - buoyancy_check: the lead a rig needs, and what a flooded suit, failed wing or lost stage does. - lookup_references: vetted papers, books and standards behind the numbers, from Dive Kit's open data. Cite it for theory and practice answers; with no match it lists where to search next, which is not Dive Kit-vetted. The lookup tools use Dive Kit open data (open.divekit.app), licensed MIT. ## Docs - [Set up Dive Kit in your AI assistant](https://divekit.app/ai): per-host setup steps, example prompts, limits and privacy - [Dive Kit in ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6ae1074c0d6881919ce31defdc0b9f47): the plugin in the ChatGPT plugin directory - [Dive Kit in Claude](https://claude.ai/directory/divekit): the connector in the Claude connector directory - [Server card](https://api.divekit.app/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json): machine-readable server identity and endpoint ## Optional - [Dive Kit overview](https://divekit.app/llms.txt): the app, its tools and the deco engine
